Metacraft Locations

If you're on this page, then you've stumbled upon a list of some noteworthy places in a Minecraft Realms server that I have, aptly named Metacraft. Use the tools below to find stuff! This is more useful if you're one of my friends actually in the server, but if you're a stranger and want to guess anyway there's nothing stopping you from doing so.

The way that this works, is that you select the place you want to locate from the dropdown below. If you'd prefer to find it yourself and just want a general nudge in the right direction, you can enter any number of coordinates for your current location, and click "Where do I go?". This will give you the furthest direction. For instance, if I'm close in the X-Axis but super far away on the Z-Axis, this will suggest you in the proper Z-Axis direction. If you're going the wrong way in the X-Axis too, you won't know until you get closer with the Z-Axis. This is set up to be a mystery to give you the biggest satisfaction of finding things yourself with only a general nudge.

Of course, if you're lazy like me, you can just click the "Where is it?" button and you'll be given the coordinates directly to the location. The points I have stored for each area are approximate, so keep that in mind, but it's pretty dang precise. Also, it's my server anyway.

A simple 3D computer grid, with an X, Y, and Z axis.

A quick note on Axises for the uninitiated. Computer games deal with a coordinate plane. In 3D games that means there's an X, Y, and Z axis. In Minecraft, the X-Axis is red and governs East (+X) / West (-X), the Y-Axis is Up (+Y) / Down (-Y) sporting green, and the Z-Axis countrerintuitively treats South (+Z) / North (-Z) in blue. It has to do with the fact that on a 2D computer screen, (0, 0) is in the top-left corner, with the vertical axis moving down for the positive direction.
